Note to California Residents:

The state of California has adopted its own water treatment device certification program independent of all other states and recognized certification programs.

California requires water treatment devices with health performance claims to be tested and certified by a state approved laboratory.  Our units are not certified.  We are a small manufacturer, and to keep our prices low, we can't afford the expense involved in certifying our dozens of filter configurations, plus the yearly renewal fees to keep the certification.  This would cause a 25 to 30 percent increase in our prices.   Therefore, we can sell our filters to California residents, but only with aesthetic claims (taste and odor) though they are the same filters we sell to residents of all other states.
