Inline Under-counter Filter, Refrigerator and Humidifier Filters, School Drinking Fountain Applications
These in-line filters will allow you to use your existing faucet and install in line under your sink. Any of these filters may be installed for use in school drinking fountains or water coolers to improve the water quality and safety for our kids while in elementary, middle or high school. For school systems with space limitations or budget considerations, our KDF/GAC inline refrigerator filter (see below) will work well.

Model UC-IL-1/4-F. This dual-cartridge inline under-counter filter uses a fluoride removal cartridge with activated alumina to effectively remove fluoride, for approximately one year. The second cartridge is our 12,000 gallon capacity KDF/GAC filter with coconut shell GAC (for improved taste and contaminant removal). It removes chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides and more (see What's KDF). The filter requires a flow rate of 0.5 gpm or less to effectively remove fluoride. Filter IL-H. Now you can remove chlorine from your humidifier water supply. Our KDF/GAC inline water filter (used for refrigerators) can also be used for removing chlorine from water feeding into your home humidifier. This filter will remove 99.9 percent of the chlorine before it's distributed throughout your home ventilation system. When your humidifier is working (during the winter months) it's sending water mixed with chlorine throughout your house. But, there's no need to breath the chlorine. Just install one of our KDF/GAC inline filters at the inlet to your humidifier and you'll prevent this problem. If you're concerned about the chlorine in your drinking water, it's even more important to remove chlorine from water before it gets to your humidifier.
