Under-counter Water Filters and Purifiers - Under Sink with Lead Free Faucets

Under-counter water purifiers are built from single or double polypropylene housing that are safe to use for drinking water.  They hold one or two water filter cartridges and connect to the water line through a faucet adapter from the cold side of your under-sink kitchen faucet to the water shut off valve.  A plumber may be required for installation.  A separate faucet mounted in your sink or countertop is used to dispense the water from the filter or filters.  And we only use lead free faucets.  Many different combinations of filters are available, but this depends on the type of contaminant you want to remove.  Chlorine is the most common and we use our KDF/GAC cartridge in a single housing.  A double or triple housing configuration allows the removal of various contaminants. Ceramic is used to remove bacteria and cryptosporidium.  Activated alumina is used to remove fluoride.  Adding a carbon block cartridge in a  second housing will help remove more of the chloramines that are now added to most community water systems.

Our under-counter filters are installed under the sink, with a long reach lead-free faucet mounted on your sink or countertop. They connect to the cold water line with a "faucet connector valve."  Quick connect fittings on the housing, connector valve and faucet stem allow a quick and easy installation (about 20 minutes). All our under-counter filters include a quality metal mounting bracket.

The standard faucet is chrome with a plastic tip and handle. It is 8.75" tall and has a long reach swivel faucet, reaching 5.5."  We also offer high quality designer faucets as an upgrade from $34.95. Note: The designer faucet may be purchased separately from $59.95. See below.

Our warranty does not cover sediment clogging.  If your municipal water contains a high level of sediment, you should add a sediment pre-filter to protect the KDF/GAC filter from clogging.  New York City area water is known to have this problem.
