Undercounter Water Filters

Our under-counter water filtration systems are built from single, double or triple polypropylene housing that are safe to use for drinking water.  They hold one, two or three water filter cartridges and connect to the water line through a faucet adapter from the cold side of your under-sink kitchen faucet to the water shut off valve.  A plumber may be required for installation.  A separate faucet mounted in your sink or countertop is used to dispense the water from the filter or filters.  Many different combinations of filters are available, but this depends on the type of contaminant you want to remove.  Chlorine is the most common and we use our KDF/GAC cartridge in a single housing.  A double or triple housing under-counter water filter configuration allows the removal of various contaminants. Ceramic is used to remove bacteria and cryptosporidium.  Activated alumina is used to remove fluoride.  Adding a carbon block cartridge in a second housing will help remove more of the chloramines that are now added to most community water systems. Our housings are made by Watts and are ANSI / NSF 42 Certified, maximum pressure 125 psi, burst tested to 500 psi and maximum tempurature rated at 125 degrees F built with high quality FDA grade polypropylene.

Our under-counter filters are installed under the sink, with a long reach faucet mounted on your sink or countertop. They connect to the cold water line with a "faucet connector valve."  Quick connect fittings on the housing, connector valve and faucet stem allow a quick and easy installation (about 20 minutes). All our under-counter filters include a quality US made plastic mounting bracket.

The standard faucet is chrome with a plastic tip and handle. It is 8.75" tall and has a long reach swivel faucet, reaching 5.5."  We also offer high quality designer faucets as an upgrade from $29.95. Note: The designer faucet may be purchased separately from $59.95. See below.

Nitrate reduction is 90% to 95% and breakthrough is not affected by sulfate levels. The capacity is 5000 ppm of nitrates as CaCO3. To determine capacity, first calculate the ppm of nitrates as CaCO3, then divide that number into 5000 to get the gallons.
