Albuquerque, NM Water Report Quality Analysis

The water quality report for s online at:

abcwua.org/files/waterquality/datatables-2010/zone7.html

The water looks very good.  However, arsenic has been as high as 10 ppb (has been from 1 to 10) and chromium is listed at 2 ppb, but our KDF/GAC cartridge will reduce both along with lead (though lead is not listed, but it's in most of our pipes).  Chlorine is used as a disinfectant.  TTHMs and HAA5s are   not listed, but are in water when chlorine is used. Both chlorine and  fluoride average 0.8 ppm.  If you want to remove chlorine, fluoride, lead, TTHMs and HAA5s, I would suggest our double countertop or under-counter filter with KDF/GAC and fluoride cartridges.  The UCD-F is our under-counter filter ($189.95) and the CTD-F is our countertop filter ($179.95), both are dual housing filters.

See http://www.thewaterexchange.net/under_counter_filters.html for our under-counter filters and

If you're not concerned about the fluoride, our single housing filters Model UC ($109.95) or Model CT ($89.95) with KDF/GAC cartridge will work.
