Daytona Beach, FL Water Report Quality Analysis
The water quality report for s online at:
ci.daytona-beach.fl.us/Files/utilities/CCR2010
The water looks very good. However, lead has been up to 4 ppb (maximum contaminant level-mcl-is 15) and TTHMs and HAA5 are listed, but our KDF/GAC cartridge will remove lead, TTHMs and HAA5s. Chlorimine and chlorine are used as a disinfectant and the average is very high at 3.7 ppm. KDF will remove some of the chloramines, but a special catalytic carbon cartridge is used for chloramines, Filter CH. Fluoride is slightly below the average at 0.69 ppm. I would suggest our double countertop or under-counter filter with KDF/GAC and chloramines cartridges. The UCD-CH is our under-counter filter ($189.95) and the CTD-CH is our countertop filter ($179.95), both are dual housing filters. If you want to remove fluoride, you would need a triple filter, UCD-CH-F for $299.95.
