Water Filters

Lakewood, CA Water Report Quality Analysis

The Lakewood, CA water report is online at:
lakewoodcity.org/services/water/water_quality.asp

Your water looks good. However, they list some contaminants present, though they are below the action level. Lead was measured as high as 6 ppb (maximum contaminant level is 15 ppb), which is below the action level. Arsenic averages 5 ppb (MCL is 10). TTHMs and HAA5s are listed, common in water using chlorine.  Fluoride is averages 0.4 ppm and is lower than normal. Chlorine is used as the disinfectant and averages 1 ppm. Our KDF/GAC cartridge will reduce chlorine, lead, arsenic, TTHMs and HAA5s.

I would suggest our single under-counter filter Model UC for chlorine, lead, arsenic, TTHM and HAA5s, other heavy metals, pesticides and organics (countertop Model CT).  If you'd like to reduce fluoride, up to 90 percent, use our double under-counter Model UCD-F or CTD-F for countertop for fluoride, chlorine, heavy metals, lead, pesticides, TTHMs, HAA5s and organics.
