Lawrence, KS Water Report Quality Analysis
Lawrence, KS water report is online at:

The water looks good. However, they list several contaminants, though they are below the action level, they are present. Arsenic is listed as high as 3.44 ppb (maximum contaminant level of 10), chromium is 1.7 ppb, (MCL 100) and lead was measured at 5.5 ppb (MCL 15). Our KDF/GAC cartridge will reduce arsenic, lead, chlorine, chromium and reduce TTHMs and HAA5 (common in water using chlorination). Fluoride is listed at 0.76 ppm. Chlorine is used as the disinfectant, and is very high averaging 3.6 ppm. At that level, our KDF/GAC cartridge may not last 2 years. It has a 3 year warranty based on 1 ppm chlorine, which is the national average. Radon is listed at 11 pCi/l and our KDF/GAC cartridge will remove that. I would suggest our single under-counter filter Model UC for chlorine, arsenic, chromium, lead, radon, TTHM and HAA5s, heavy metals, pesticides and organics. If you'd like to reduce fluoride, we have a cartridge that removes up to 90 percent. That would be Model UCD-F for under-counter use, or Model CTD-F for countertop installation
